Duties Include:

  • Answering phones and greeting customers with a friendly, professional manner

  • Data entry and maintaining accurate records

  • Assisting with finance tasks including invoicing and supplier processing

  • Mail, banking and office supply management

  • Providing administrative support to our Operations Manager and field team

  • Learning to use job management software (Simpro, Flat Rate Now, Xero)

  • Ad-hoc administrative duties as directed

What You’ll Learn:

Throughout your traineeship, you’ll develop a wide range of skills and knowledge that form the foundation for a successful administrative career, including:

    • Customer service and communication in a professional setting

    • Time management, prioritisation, and attention to detail

    • Digital systems used in real business operations

    • Financial and job tracking processes

    • Coordination of technicians and workflow management

  • Problem-solving in a dynamic team environment

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for someone who is:

    • Enthusiastic, positive and eager to learn

    • Organised with strong attention to detail

    • Confident with computers and new technology

    • Friendly and professional when communicating with customers and team members

    • Able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team

  • Ready to start a long-term career in business administration

No prior experience is necessary — we provide all on-the-job training and support through your traineeship.

Why Join O’Brien Plumbing North Wollongong?

  • Supportive and friendly team environment

  • Learn from industry leaders in a nationally recognised business

  • Gain a nationally accredited qualification while you work

  • Opportunities for long-term career growth after your traineeship
