O’Brien Electrical Hallam is a well-established electrical contracting company based in South East Melbourne, operating both locally and Australia-wide. 

Due to the company’s ongoing and expanding opportunities, we are seeking a Mechanical Fabricator looking for their next challenge.  

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Fabricator to join our driven, customer-focused team. You will be part of a positive, problem-solving culture and will be supported by a strong leadership team.

About the role:

Based in Hallam and working throughout Metropolitan Melbourne, you will work with our industrial team of electricians, engineers, and apprentices to complete a variety of projects. Whether it be a breakdown, shutdown, or project, you will be supported by our in-house Engineers and backed by an experienced team of Industrial Electricians.

The successful candidate for this role needs to be able to demonstrate:

Essentials in this role:

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Fabricator or similar
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence
• OH&S Induction Training for the Construction Industry (White Card)
• Experience as a fabricator
• Must be able to read and interpret a workshop drawing
• Ability to obtain a Working with Children and Police Check
